I am a senior in chemical engineering and will be graduating in May 2020 with my bachelors degree. I have been working on the CISTAR project for about 2 years on membrane separation. Specifically synthesis and optimization of ultra thin, thermally stable mesoporous silica based membranes for hydrogen separation. I use various methods of characterization such as TEM and SEM along with testing the gas permeability of the membranes.
